John & Needra – Senior Pastors of The Living Water Church
Pastor John Hawkins had a radical encounter with God in 2003, a divine visitation that marked the beginning of his journey to fully answering the call to follow Jesus. Similarly, at a young age, Pastor Needra Hawkins gave her heart to Jesus, sparking a lifelong walk with Christ. Together, they faithfully served their local church for many years, sharpening their ministry skills and deepening their relationship with the Lord.
Both John and Needra pursued their theological training with excellence, earning bachelor’s degrees in theology from Bible college. They later went on to achieve master’s degrees: Pastor John in Theology and Pastor Needra in Christian Education.
The Lord has uniquely anointed Pastor John with a powerful evangelistic calling. Through community outreaches, one-on-one soul-winning, and global missions, he has seen countless lives transformed by the gospel. His ministry has reached from Washington, D.C., to Alaska, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, bringing in a tremendous harvest of souls. Pastor John operates under a strong anointing for signs, wonders, and miracles. By the grace of God, he has witnessed deaf ears opened, the lame restored, and countless miracles that only Jesus can perform. His life has been marked by profound encounters with the living God, including a visitation from Jesus Christ and a divine calling from the Holy Spirit to follow Him in proclaiming the gospel with power.
Pastor Needra has been a faithful partner in this ministry, standing alongside her husband as they fulfill the call to reach the world with the gospel of the Kingdom. She has a heart for raising up young women to walk in the spirit of Sarah, exemplifying faith, grace, and purpose. Pastor Needra has also played an integral role in building the church, demonstrating unwavering faithfulness and leadership.
In 2016, God called Pastors John and Needra to establish The Living Water Church, a ministry dedicated to prayer, global evangelism, youth outreach, and healing the broken. Since its founding, the church has seen multitudes come to Christ. The mission of The Living Water Church is clear: by the power of the Holy Spirit, reaching the world with the gospel of the Kingdom.
Through their unwavering obedience, passion for souls, and commitment to God’s vision, Pastors John and Needra Hawkins continue to impact countless lives for Christ, always giving Him all the glory.
